Afro-Cuban Percussion with Jonathan Kline

Dates: Tuesdays, drop-in  7:00pm - 8:30pm

Location: Toko Imports - Dewitt Mall (entrance at the corner of Buffalo St and Cayuga St), Downtown Ithaca

Participants will learn patterns and techniques for conga, clave, cowbell, palitos and shekere.  Rhythms include Rumba, Son, Guaracha, Makuta and Conga. Drums and small percussion instruments will be available. Learning aids include written overview, music and video.
